My mother often shook her head whenever she caught me late at night reading a book under the covers when I still went to school. Ever since I could read my first words, I've been captivated by these mysterious paper worlds that whisked me away on adventures and flooded me with knowledge I couldn't get enough of. And so my favorite line quickly became a ritual—one that still makes my mother smile today:

"Just one more chapter."

But it wasn't only books that held me spellbound. I've always been hungry for knowledge, eager to uncover new worlds, explore other languages and create my own works. Interests that have shaped my entire academic journey. With particular focus on language change, my master's thesis explored a translation approach that uses linguistic methods to craft natural and contemporary translations.
